About Our Charity
Aids Food Store (AFS) is dedicated to providing free food to its Long Beach community in need and is a 100 percent volunteer organization. Their organization receives financial support, food, and supplies from local organizations, businesses, foundations, community groups, churches, restaurants, and individuals. Their clients pay nothing. Food distributions are free to all of their clients. With the support of partners, AFS feeds over 1,000 individuals and families every month.

Hotel Accommodations Are Full
The Hyatt Regency Long Beach (headquarters) and Hyatt Centric rooms blocks are full. APHSA has negotiated an additional overflow hotel which is one block away. Click below for further details.
PLEASE NOTE: If you are attending the 2023 National TANF Directors' Meeting on August 30 and 31, you must book your hotel stay in their hotel block. APHSA does not have hotel rooms reserved for this meeting. Attendees need to contact their regional TANF/Tribal TANF Program Managers for information on the hotel block for this meeting.
